About FMC

The FMC Story

In 1990 FMC started manufacturing in a small unit in the backstreets of West Bromwich. Six years later the UK’s first Vacuumed formed extinguisher stand was born at our very own premises just a few miles away from where we started. In the very early 2000’s our brand of Evacuator Alarm’s were developed starting with the Hard-Wired Site Guard Model. At our new and bigger premises in 2009 Evacutor went Wireless with the Tough Guard Alarm which took the fire safety market by storm, meaning we would soon need more machinery and more space to double our stock levels and design The Synergy RF Model with increased range and double the battery life of its pre-decessor. Over six years later we are proud to have developed our reputatble brand of the industry-first patent pending flat pack fire extingiuisher stands- The Modulex. We are continuing on our journey of investment in the Fire Safety industry designing market first products and innovative developments for our loyal customer base.

FMC is committed to creating high quality products; upholding our reputation for outstanding customer service and maintaining our recognisable brand made up of market leading innovations developed over a period 25 years in the industry. Our team of in-house designers work hand in hand with customers to create bespoke products that boast all of the key design features that FMC’s renowned product range has to offer, growing our loyal customer base who trust in our ability to consistently deliver industry leading fire safety equiptment.

Our ECO Mission

We pride ourselves on being a socially and environmentally responsible organisation. We maintain the ability to provide high quality and market leading designs that are sustainable and protect the environment. Where possible we also invest in projects that benefit our local community such as local sponsorship’s and regular involvement with key charities. We have designed the infrastructure of our business to be digitally focused, as much as possible, to avoid unnecessary printing as an example. Some of our most up to date products have fully recyclable packaging and this is something we endeavour to include in our upcoming designs.
