About FMC

The FMC Story

In 1990 FMC started manufacturing in a small unit in the backstreets of West Bromwich. Six years later the UK’s first Vacuumed formed extinguisher stand was born at our very own premises just a few miles away from where we started. In the very early 2000’s our brand of Evacuator Alarm’s were developed starting with the Hard-Wired Site Guard Model. At our new and bigger premises in 2009 Evacutor went Wireless with the Tough Guard Alarm which took the fire safety market by storm, meaning we would soon need more machinery and more space to double our stock levels and design The Synergy RF Model with increased range and double the battery life of its pre-decessor. Over six years later we are proud to have developed our reputatble brand of the industry-first patent pending flat pack fire extingiuisher stands- The Modulex. We are continuing on our journey of investment in the Fire Safety industry designing market first products and innovative developments for our loyal customer base.

We have designed the infrastructure of our business to be digitally focused, as much as possible, to avoid unnecessary printing as an example. Some of our most up to date products have fully recyclable packaging and this is something we endeavour to include in our upcoming designs.
