How it Works
The Aico Ei3016 optical smoke alarm has a button test that allows the sensor, sounder and all electronics to be checked. There is also a two-option silencer function, one silences the alarm for 10 minutes, and the other silences fault bleeps over 12 hours.
The device will display a green LED light to indicate the power is on, a red light when the alarm sounds, if the silence mode is activated or to indicate the memory is full. However, if a yellow LED light is showing, the device has a fault.
